About PetNumbers

PetNumbers is an independent website with free calculators for dog and cat owners. We explain each formula on the page and name the sources behind the numbers, so you can check them.

Not veterinary advice

The results are estimates based on general guidelines. Every pet is different. Talk to your veterinarian before changing your pet's diet or when you have concerns about its health.

Affiliate links and ads

Some pages may include affiliate links or advertising. If you buy through an affiliate link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes how a calculator works.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, please write to contact@petnumbers.org. We review reports and update the page and its "last reviewed" date.
